8 years of volunteering

The reason I chose to work in the domestic violence movement is prior to being involved in the movement, I had many misconceptions about DV.  Working with the Staff of Gateway has cleared up so many of those misconceptions and educated me to the cycle of violence and what can be done to help the victims.  It is gratifying to hear the stories of survivors and to know those individuals who dedicate their lives to helping the victims of domestic violence become survivors.

Gateway is a wonderful organization filled with loving and dedicated people.  It is truly an honor to be associated with them.
